Forever Immortal

Jake was taken aback after her sudden outburst. The elegance from a moment ago completely collapsing at her sudden yell. It took him a second to gather his thoughts before thinking of how to reply to her.

Jake: ”Well… I would like to tell you since it honestly doesn affect me much even if you knew. The problem is if you believe it or not. I don know how I got so much Yang Qi in my body but the only thing I can think of is I accidentally absorbed all of it when I was dying over and over again on a star. Oh! I should have probably mentioned that Im immortal. ”

He saw no need to lie to the only person who could help him. Especially since if he wanted to be able to leave and explore this new world eventually then he would need a place to give him the tools to do so.

Matriarch: ”W-what are you talking about! How could someone like you be a immortal!? You don even have a cultivation base let alone even a single drop of Qi in your dantian! ”

At this point she was absolutely confused. She knew he had no reason to lie and she knew what position he was in. Yet all the facts was right in front of her but she couldn accept it. The thought of him being a immortal without any cultivation or any power is just impossible.

Jake: ”Thats a funny story honestly. I have no idea how I landed here and how I got into your garden. Honestly I couldn get off the sun and had to wait for it to become a black hole before I was sucked in and sent into a ”soul coma ” I guess you could call it. ”

At this point the matriarch felt like she was having a headache. Her delicate Snow White hands now rubbing her temples as she looked away from Jake.

Matriarch: ”You know what, fine how about we stop talking about this. I will accept that you are Immortal for now just to get rid of this headache. Anyways what is your choice? Leave or stay? ”

Jake had been pondering her choices for a little bit as she was off in her own head thinking about his situation.

Jake: ”I would like to stay. I don know the situation here in the sect let alone the name of it but if I stay I can gather information of the world and see my next steps when the time comes! ”

The matriarch turned back to him having placed her hands in front cupping each other with a smile on her beautiful face.

Matriarch: ”Good. Then youll need to take a aptitude test. Only those with talent is allowed to be apart of my Silver Palace. Though I will let you first eat and recover from that absolutely atrocious state. Once you are done cleaning up hold onto this medallion and squeeze hard. You will instantly be transported to the sect testing grounds. The instructors there will then test your Soul, Physique, and Energy talents. This will help us know what you will excel in and what you don . ”

As she finished her words the sound of a bell rang out through the room. At some point during her explanation she had summoned a little bell out of her ring. At the next moment the maid from before opened the door and walked in bowing to the matriarch as she stood next to Jake.

Matriarch: ”Please take out guest here to get cleaned up and fed. Take him to one of the empty Core Disciple rooms. Also fill him in on different essential knowledge needed for survival. ”

She quickly gave out her demands as the elegance that had disappeared from before was now coating her while in the company of the maid. Just for her to suddenly turn around and walk off to the throne as if the conversation was done and there was nothing more to say.

Maid: ”Yes Matriarch. I will do as you command. ”

The maid soon walked towards the door some what reluctant in her steps as Jake follows behind. It didn take them long to get to a empty room, especially since the Core Disciples had the privilege to live in the palace where Qi is the riches.

Maid: ”Here is your room sir. Please try not to break anything or cause trouble while here. I wouldn want to clean up after your messes and please clean yourself as fast as possible. You smell like a burnt rat and burnt vegetables. ”

She lifted her hand covering her nose with a obvious look of disgust. She had obviously been holding back her words till now but after hearing that this mortal would be living in one of if not the best rooms for disciples, she couldn help but feel bitter about it.

Jake: ”Wow, and here I thought you where a nice person. Looks like I need to work on my people skills again because not even being able to realize that I had such a rude individual beside me is definitely not good. ”

He didn even let her reply as he quickly went into the room. He obviously did not want to hear whatever that person had to say.

Quickly he began to clean himself up, of course it was a challenge to begin with. He hadn even figured out of to turn on the bath yet as it used some kind of water array. The only reason he thought of that was from the novels he would read in the past.

Alex: ”Try touching the center of the array and turn it clockwise. It seems to be kinda like the knobs on those old showers. Other than this I would need to study it more to figure out if there are anymore mechanisms inside the array. ”

Jake quickly did as Alex said only to suddenly get drenched by scolding hot water! Fortunately he couldn feel the heat, especially after bathing in the sun for so many years. What Jake didn know is since this is the room of a Core Disciple the people who usually live here are able to control Qi basically at will. This made it possible for them to not get soaked each time the activated the array since they could do it outside of the bath tube.

Jake: ”Man, I didn expect the water to basically just appear on top of my head like that. Oh well its not like I can get a new pair of clothes ”

He decided to take this as a learning experience and forget about the embarrassment. Eventually he cleaned himself up and got dressed. This time he had been wearing a outfit similar to the matriarch. It was a silver robe that fit perfectly to his body, honestly it wasn anything special. He was just copying what he has seen from manga with a cultivators robes before heading to the door only to find a meal already ready for him.

Jake: ”Well its better then nothing I guess. Wait what is this pill? ”

On the plate was a white pill covered in what looks like engraving. Obviously there was other items on the dish such as meat from some beast and some simple side dishes. He couldn wait to get to eating as he pulled the plate inside and began to stuff his face.

After finishing the meat he could feel something change inside his body. Almost like he had infinite energy he looked at his arms. The pale color of his skin slowly regaining its youth as it turns into a healthy white. His body slowly began to get some definition as the skin and bone appearance lessened as the beast meat fills his energy center with some unknown energy.

Once he began to realize that his body was continuously going back to the way it should be. He couldn help but smile, that was until he realized that his body was starting to bloat up more then what it should be. Almost like he was about to explode he quickly grabbed the pill and all the food and began to eat it all as quickly as possible. This was his last ditch effort before he had to go through another ”death ” again.

Slowly his body began to stabilize as the pill went to work. It absorbed the excess energy and helped solve the problem, it even had unknown benefits that was helping to improve the state of his body all together.

After about a hour his body was in his peak condition once again. Even though he still had barely any muscles or any fat to even talk about he still felt a lot better after his body was given the nutrients it craved for, for so long.
