My love affair

I left the dancing hall and walked towards the music class. The dance hall and music class are in the same building, the only difference being the separation with a wall and a door, usually I always come first, due to some music student also attending dance classes music was postponed to after dance practice. I sat at the back seat as usual, I flipped through my music note reading since that was all I could do.

”Hello, may I seat here ” I heard a girly voice making me lose focus on what I was reading I turned to see who it was and to my surprise it was the eauty goddess, though people call her that, and no doubt she was as beautiful as a goddess but I had no interest in her due to our age difference . After seeing who it was I went back to my book before giving her a silent nod as and approval to seat.

”thanks ” she said before sitting on the seat closest to me, it was long before the others joined in.

”okay can everyone open to the last page of the music note ” the music instructor asked politely. She has this sweet voice that makes you always want to hear her talk. The rest of the student did as she ordered, but few among the males and even the female could not help but stare at me which made me wonder why. I have attended the music class a dozen of times but was treated like a ghost…except the music instructor of course. The instructor stared at everyone before suddenly remembering something.

”ohh sorry guys, I know you are all surprised to see a new face ”she said before gesturing the goddess to come out and stand in front of the class ” everyone, this is Adeshewa, and she will be attending the class with you all, hope you take care of her ” the instructor asked to which the whole class shouted yes in a loud voice even going as far as to clap for Ade without she introducing her self. I remembered mine not being so glorious, it only made me sigh at how ghostly I am. She smiled at them all in response ”I am sorry guys I would have loved to introduce my self properly, but there isn really anything to know about me ” she apologized but it only made them shout in excitement all the more. I stared to see if she enjoyed it but no she didn , she gave a smile to show appreciation but her eyes says otherwise, she doesn like it.

” Okay, thats enough everyone ” the instructor ordered making everyone quiet down ”you may go back to your seat ” she said to Ade before going to the main topic of the day.

” last time I told you to all pick a partner for your presentation tommorow isn it? ” the instructor asked.To which they all said yes

”good, there will be a performance tomorrow , and if you are lucky enough you will be among those who will participate in one of the music industry audition ” she explained to which every one clapped in excitement ” David, have you gotten a partner? ” the music instructor asked pointing at me to which everyone stared.

”hmm…No, but I have picked a song to present ” I answered timidly scrathing the back of hy hair.

”sigh…who wants to partner with David ” she asked the rest of the class, but a student stoop up immediately making the instructor think she wants to partner with me ( the partner has to be the opposite gender) ” ohh, we got one already ” she said happily, but to her surprise the lady shook her haired side ways ”No, I don want to partner with him ” she refuted immediately ” look mam, I am not trying to insult him or disrespect you but he shouldn be here, hes eleven for crying out loud, everyone here should be 4,5 or 6 years older than he is, he should be singing the Johnny Johnny rhymes with his mates outside ” she added making everyone burst out in laughter at her last statement , disdain for me in her eyes, I looked toward the instructor do see what she would say (I couldn read her) and she had a frown on her face.

”I can assure you that David has a better vocal voice than you do, so where does you nonsense come out from ” she asked before turni g to apologize to me.

”its okay, I wouldn be bothered by her kind, I don think shes worth it ” I replied to the instructor to which the class gasped, I could see a smile on the teachers face after what I said, but unknown to me I hit a sore spot in the girl as she started raining curses on me which eventually led her to being sent out of the class.

”okay so who will partner with David? ” she asked again, and this time Ade raised her hand.

”I will partner with him ” she announced standing on her feet.
