Short Story King

I Can Also Cut Like You!

Once upon a time in a far-off kingdom, there lived a fierce and powerful dragon queen. She ruled over all the dragons in the land, commanding their loyalty and respect.

The dragon queen was not always a queen. She was once a young dragon, scrappy and ambitious, who rose to power through cunning and strength. She had defeated all her rivals, earning the right to lead her people.

One day, a group of knights arrived at the dragon queens lair, determined to slay her and claim her hoard as their own. But the queen was not one to be defeated so easily.

”Who dares to challenge me, the dragon queen? ” she boomed, her voice shaking the very foundations of the cave.

”We are the bravest knights in the kingdom, ” one of the knights replied. ”We have come to put an end to your reign of terror. ”

The dragon queen laughed, a deep and rumbling sound. ”You are no match for me. I have ruled these lands for centuries, and I will not be defeated by a group of mere mortals. ”

She breathed out a stream of fire, incinerating one of the knights where he stood. The others backed away in fear, but the queen was not done yet. She flew out of the cave, her wings beating the air with a deafening roar.

The knights tried to fight back, but they were no match for the dragon queens strength and ferocity. She fought with a wild and reckless abandon, her claws tearing through armour and flesh with ease.

In the end, the dragon queen emerged victorious, standing triumphantly over the slain knights. She returned to her cave, her hoard of treasure now even larger with the addition of the knights weapons and armour.

”Let this be a lesson to all who would dare challenge the power of the dragon queen, ” she declared, a fierce gleam in her eyes. ”I am the ruler of these lands, and none shall stand in my way. ”

As the years passed, the dragon queens legend grew. She was feared and respected by all the creatures of the land, and none dared to challenge her rule.

But there were some who plotted against her in secret. They were jealous of her power and sought to overthrow her, to take her hoard of treasure for themselves.

One of these rebels was a young dragon named Kalen. He had grown tired of living under the queens rule and longed for freedom. He had gathered a group of like-minded dragons, and together they planned to overthrow the dragon queen.

They waited for the perfect moment to strike, biding their time and gathering their strength. And then, one day, they made their move.

They attacked the queens lair in the dead of night, catching her off guard. The battle was fierce and chaotic, with fire and claws flying in every direction.

The dragon queen fought with all her might, but she was outnumbered and outmatched. She was wounded, her scales torn and her wings battered. She knew that she could not win this battle.

But she refused to go down without a fight. She fought on, determined to take as many of her enemies with her as she could. She fought until she could fight no longer, and then she collapsed, her body broken and her spirit crushed.

The rebels took her hoard and declared themselves the new rulers of the land. But they knew that they had not truly won. The dragon queens legend lived on, and there would always be those who remembered her and vowed to avenge her.

The end.
